The Write On Project will take place for the 2002-2003
school year. I was really nervous about coming today. I had my own little
way of doing things, but I think I can adjust. The process is the same
and hopefully the outcome will be the same. It will give you a building
bock, which we haven’t had before.

with Four Square writing this past month? Excellent

3. Did your students attempt a Four Square + 1 paragraph (topic sentence, three detail sentences, one additional sentence for each detail). If so, what success did they have with it? If not, why? Yes Time was a problem it took a long time .

None! My students really enjoyed you coming into the classroom.
1.Describe your class’ experience with the Easter Island writing assignment this past month. They loved it! They enjoyed writing about their trip to Easter Island. They were able to use their knowledge on natural resource in social studies.

We only had time to follow up on the original writing assignment.
3. Did your students participate in a social studies cross curriculum writing activity? If so, describe its successes/weaknesses. Yes ,I thought it was a great success.

project this past month? Time is always a problem.

This month we used the social studies and science ”write on” disc and the children really enjoyed using it!
2. Share your students’ experiences with the Civil War or Iraq writing activity.
3. Have you experienced any problems through your participation in this project this past month? no
4. What suggestions would you have for making this project more beneficial to you and your students? I felt like they were much more motivated by you .A visit twice a month would be nice! The other teachers would benefit from this program.

1. How do you feel this project moved toward the goal of improving student composition skills? It was a great help.
2. How did your participation in this project positively affecting the writing skills of the students in your classroom? It was a great motivator. The kids loved it!
3. How did your participation in this project positively affect your instructional strategies? Lots of fresh new ideas! The books were loaded with good ideas.
4. Describe any problems you encountered through your participation in this project? Time was a big factor. When do I HAVE TIME TO DO ALL THE SE WONDERFUL Things?
5. What could be done to improve the Write On project? Absolutely nothing
