The internet can be bad for kids because of strangers in chat rooms. Now the federal government is trying to protect kids on the internet. They do this for the kids and parents. Now is should be pretty safe. Never talk to strangers on the internet. Don’t give personal information. Don’t talk to any one you don’t know on the net. Web sites with the .kids.us domain name will not link to sites that have different domain names. They don’t have an instant message. They don’t have chat rooms. I think the government did a great thing.

In the middle of November something tragic happened the Prestinge started to leak. The boat began to sink. After the boat’s oil ran out the stern or better know the back of the ship started to sink. The top half stayed afloat for hours. A lot of oil ran out of the ship. Much of the oil washed up on the shore. It covered at least 150 miles off the coastline. It wasn’t an easy job to do. A worker clean off a beach in Spain. A lot of environmental workers are working hard to clean up the enormous oil spill. I think that saving all of our water animals is a way of showing you’re a good citizen of your community. I’m also glad that all of the people have help to save so much wildlife.

The Prestige sunk in the middle of November and killed many plants and animals. It ruined itself when it split itself in half and leaked over 150 miles past the coastline. It is now a time bomb and oil may spue and explode on, it may let oil tanks rust, leak and kill animals once again. The Prestige sunk and killed many plants and animals. I hope the beach is cleaned and doesn’t kill any birds, fish, or turtles.

Spilled oil from a ship called Prestige oil soaked up wild life. The oil started to spill in the middle of November during a storm and the oil washed up on shore in Spain. Nearly, two million gallons of oil and more than ninety-three miles of coastline was polluted. The oil kills animals like fish, birds, and other animals. Some experts say cleaning up the oil soaked beaches could take years. I hope that the oil spill doesn’t kill a lot of the animals or the environment.

Today, I am going to talk about a young woman flying a glider that da Vinci invented. The plane that the woman I’m talking about flew the glider 30 feet wide wings. She had to run fast to make it go. The story of Lendens’ flight began in Italy. It told about the great art da Vinci made. Lenden flew the glider twenty times in all. Lenden said the glider flights were very, very thrilling. It shouldn’t have worked but it did. I will never go on a glider like that.

In the middle of November, a storm with high winds and waves pounded. A tanker called the Prestige and it began to leak oil. Oil from the tanker formed a slick on the ocean. It covered at least 150 miles of coastline and experts say cleaning up the oil could take years. A few days after the tanker began leaking oil, it broke in two and sank, the back, or stern, sank quickly but its front or bow floated for several hours. The tanker sank about 150 miles off the coastline. About 18 million gallons of oil are still inside the tanker and the weight pressing in on it could cause the oil take to explode. The ship, is time bomb. There is nothing that makes us believe it won’t finally burst and leak out oil. I feel sorry for the animals that died.

I’m feeling really sorry for the people that got insured and their homes torn apart. Torn up trucks and homes it torn up cars and trucks in Carban Hill, Alabama buildings and stores were tore up in Alabama. Strong winds can pick up cars, trucks, and waterlines up and the winds can pick up to 250 miles per hour. Objects flying people that get hit by flying objects are insured and some objects like glass, wood, pieces of cars, and other things.

Tornados are very violent storms. Violent storms are tornados their speed can go more than 250 miles per hour. Pick up trucks a long time and damage caused millions of dollars. Ruined homes need to rebuild homes in Ohio and Alabama. Tornados are very dangerous.

Tornados damage a lot of things each year. The tornados damage peoples lives and homes. Houses have got blown away so have cars from tornados there are about 80 deaths and 1500 injuries. People will work to clean up and rebuild homes. I hope people get a place to live.

Tornadoes happen in different parts of the United States. Tornados can ruin every thing like cars and houses. Tornados can kill anything, trees, plants, people, and animals. Tornados mostly strike in valleys such as Texas and Arkansas. I hope no one gets killed in a tornado today.

Alabama and Ohio had twister storms. They ruined homes in Alabama and Ohio. Some violent storms are also called tornados and twisters. Tornados are most likely to happen in March and May. I think that a tornado can do a lot of damage and I would not hate to be in one and for other people to be in one.

Spilled oil soaks wildlife. There was a lot of injured animals like sea gulls and ducks. And it killed a lot of animals like seals, and fish. The oil spill may take a year or two and it will be hard to clean up. And I really wish that it didn’t happen.
