Our Vision as a PreK-8 School   White Pine School wants to recognize the uniqueness of both elementary and middle school students within our educational environment.  Our desire is to enable each student to become a valuable, contributing member of society.  At White Pine School, we see students, teachers, support staff, community leaders, and parents as facilitators of this goal.  The mission of White Pine School is to provide the environment and the resources to enable all students to achieve their full potential.  We foster respect, responsibility, and teamwork.  We strive to develop in our students a love for lifelong learning.

  • New SET fundraiser – GoEco! The Ultimate Eco-Fundraiser  The Science & Energy Team is participating in a new fundraiser – GoEco! The Ultimate Eco-FundraiserSM.  The items available for purchase are made from some of the products we recycle in our school-wide recycling program.   Check out the GoEco! website and you will see lots of products made from the things we recycle – chip bags, cookie wrappers, juice pouches, glue sticks, and electronics.  We can earn money for our team from purchases made through the GoEco!  Purchases must be made from this web address in order to count towards our team:  www.dwellsmart.com/GoEco00080.  Please add this link to your favorites list, share it on Facebook, Twitter, etc.  Anyone who purchases items from this link will help our team.

  • Recycling Saves Energy  White Pine School’s Science & Energy Team is now recycling the following items: laptop computers, cellular phones, digital cameras, ink jet cartridges, laser printer cartridges, and camcorders.  Electronic waste contains toxic chemicals that can leak into the soil and water.  The metals in these electronics can be recycled.  This saves energy because raw materials do not need to be mined for use in  new electronic products.  If you would like to recycle old electronics, please use the collection bins at the Science & Energy Team table in the Commons or give your items to any team member.
