What is in the Library?
What is in the Library?
There are many types of media in the library, including books, periodicals, and audiovisual materials (such as computer programs and audio or videotapes).
Your teacher will use many
of these different types of
media in your classrooms.
Because of all of these types
of media, the library is now
often called a “media center.”
What media may I use?
BOOKS!!!!!
As a student, you will primarily be
making use of the library’s fiction books. You may sometimes check out a nonfiction book about a topic you are interested in, or for a school assignment.
You may also use (but not check out) some
Reference books at times for research assignments.
