Terrific Kids for Third Nine Weeks

Second Grade

Mrs. Britt's class has been so busy with math and science!  They have created many experiments using magnets, balances and microscopes.  They have also been practicing spelling with shaving cream.  It was fantastic fun!

Fourth Grade

Mrs. Tyrell's class has been busy designing their own countries.  They began by writing a Declaration of Independence.  The next step was to write a Constitution.  The students found out how hard it was to compromise on which rules were most important!  They also drew maps of their countries, designed a flag, and several groups went on to design money, a national seal, and picked out national birds, flowers, and insects.  We learned a lot about how hard it would be to create a new country.

Fifth Grade

Fifth grade researched a variety of topics and did some awesome projects.
