We have had two wonderful opportunities to learn and to be entertained at the same time this month.  The Jefferson Co. High School Drama Club came to present their annual play.  It was wonderful!  TVA also visited  to teach us about energy saving and usage.  We learned that it is very important to turn out lights and use energy wisely.

Second Grade

Mrs. Britt's class

Mrs. Britt's class has been very busy writing and learning about science.  They drew diagrams of frogs with great detail.  They are really enjoying second grade!

Mrs. Bunch

Mrs. Bunch's class has enjoyed having 5th grade helpers in the morning.  They participate in early morning activities with each other.  They have also been enjoying science, learning many new concepts with science activities and experiments.  They also have learned how to care and share with Mrs. Trent, and are busy with subtraction facts.  Second grade is such a busy time!

Fourth Grade

Mrs. Tyrell's class

We have been studying how to measure in science and math these past few weeks.  We've learned that there is quite a difference between the metric system and the standard system.  We also learned in 4-H how to wash our hands correctly!
