New Teacher Mentoring "Teachers Helping Teachers"  Each principal will assign a teacher mentor to a new teacher (JCHS Mentor/Mentees).  Mentor teachers have received training materials.

New for Summer 2006:  Mentor teachers training sessions

The teacher mentoring program includes:

• Orientation for new teachers
• After school New Teacher seminars 4 times a year
• New Teachers will receive training on the state evaluation model and have 3 evaluations during the first three years of service.
• Mentor support for any full or part-time staff for one year required and available for two years at the option of the new teacher
• Mentor training
