After several
days of snow delays, the Jefferson County Spelling Bee finally took
place Tuesday, January 19 at New Market School.
Connie Campbell, Director
of Schools, congratulates the winners of the Jefferson County
Spelling Bee. Seth, a fifth grade student from White Pine school
repeats as the 2009-2010 county Spelling Bee Champ. Way to go
Seth! The second place winner was eighth grade student Aimee from
Rush Strong School and Katie, also an eighth grade student, from
Maury Middle School finished in third place. It was a great night
for the students. |
