Library books are on loan for a one week period. Students can
renew
books for an additional week. Library books are due each week
when
students come to the library for class. Overdue notices will be
sent
home at the end of each month to remind students when their books are more than
two weeks late.
Kindergarten, first-, and second-graders are allowed to check out one book each week and will not be permitted to check out a new book until theirs have been returned. Third-, fourth-, and fifth-graders are allowed to check out two books per weekly visit. Students are expected to be responsible for the proper care of their library books. Any student that loses or damages a book (to the point that it is no longer useable) will be expected to pay for its replacement. |
