Objectives 
In this lesson, students will: 
· Research the history of transportation on the Internet
· Create a transportation design for the future

Time Frame 
Two 1-hour sessions

Materials
1. Internet access
2. Butcher paper (8 ft. lengths for each team)
3. 8 ½” X 11” paper
4. Pencils, crayon 

Procedure
1. Discuss and view the various forms of transportation using the web sites listed.
2. In cooperative groups ask students to create a transportation design for the future using the 8 ½” X 11” paper.
3. After designs are finished, teams transfer them to the butcher paper.
4. Post the finished murals in the hallway along with downloaded information from the Internet.
