TEACHING, LEARNING, AND THE CURRICULUM.
Teachers implement curriculum
plans, which include methods and strategies for applying
technology to maximize student learning. Teachers:
A.
Facilitate technology-enhanced experiences
that address content standards and student technology
standards.
B.
Use technology to support learner-centered
strategies that address the diverse needs of students.
C.
Apply technology to develop students' higher
order skills and creativity.
D.
Manage student learning activities in a
technology-enhanced environment.
Teachers
will engage in the following activities:
- Techniques
for locating and evaluating internet material
appropriate for classroom instruction and resources
aligning with the Tennessee Curriculum Standards.
- Strategies
for reading and writing in the content area as well as
across the curriculum.
- Development
of classroom resources (PowerPoint presentations,
interactive games, web pages, and an instructional pod
cast) that are integrated with technology.
- All
materials created will shared with other teachers in the
county via the Jefferson County web page.
