Overview

Students will learn to form plural and possessive nouns through a variety of activities, both individual and group.

Time Frame
3 days, 45 minute periods

Objectives

In this lesson, students will:

Materials  Microsoft® Word   Netscape Procedure

Day 1

Day 2 Students complete worksheet, adding endings to show possession. Ex: Change "the tail of the dog" to "the dog’s tail."

Day 3

National Standards Addressed by this Lesson

The student will develop the reading skills necessary for word recognition, comprehension, interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and appreciation of the written text.

State Standards Addressed by this Lesson

Extend reading vocabulary utilizing sight words, phonetic and structural analysis, and context.
