Overview
Students will write a first person narrative that
will include the story elements: plot, characters, setting, mood, and theme.
Their narrative will focus on a personal achievement.
Time Frame
5-45 minute lessons
Objectives
In this lesson, students will:

Procedure

Students will brainstorm for a personal achievement.

When they have a topic, students will create a story
web to sequence the events of their narratives.

Students will include the story elements as they create
their story webs.

Students will then follow the stages of the writing
process as they write their narratives.

Students will type their final copies on the computer.
