Objectives
In this lesson, students will:

Distinguish the difference of fact and opinion

Create statements that are facts or opinions

Be able to work cooperatively with another class to
give and receive statements of fact and opinion.
Materials
Procedure
-
The teacher will contact another classroom to join in
the lesson on ICQ.

The teacher will discuss the difference between fact
and opinion with the students and the students will practice.

Then, after practice time, the teacher will ask the
students participate in giving and receiving fact and opinion statements
over ICQ chat.

The classes will decide who goes first and they will
give their statement.
-
The other class will respond with the answer of fact
or opinion.

Then the other class takes its turn.
-
Teachers can decide if they want to keep score.
